O!burger - Simply Organic, has named the Sierra Club's Angeles Chapter as its 2009 Charity of Choice. Co-owners Martha Chang and Andy Soboil are big supporters of the environment (especially the Sierra Club) and firm believers in food being organic, healthy and tasty.

O!burger is a completely organic burger house. This includes the buns, the sauce, vegetables, meat, ketchup, mustard, fries, etc. At O!burger, if it's edible it's organic. The food is free of pesticides, chemical fertilizer, insecticide, food coloring, genetic modifications, cloning, antibiotics, steroids and hormones. Everything on the menu (which is extensive) is delicious. They have veggie burgers and turkey burgers as well mixed salad, chili and O!fries.

As if that's not enough to whet your appetite, there's more. O!burger will soon be rolling out an organic beef-co-op program which Martha and Andy are very excited about. We're excited as well, not only will the Angeles Chapter members be the first to be invited to participate in this program-Martha and Andy have pledged 3% of all gross proceeds to the Angeles Chapter. Now that's what I call a generous helping!

O!burger joins Amoeba Records and Provident Financial Management as our newest corporate sponsor. Their name will be prominently paced on the 2009 Wall of Fame which graces the Angeles Chapter Headquarters for all to see. If you have a company or know of one to partner with the Angeles Chapter, let me know by calling 213-387-4289 or via email to: ron.silverman@sierraclub.org.

O!burger is located at 8593 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood CA 90069
