In honor of Earth Day, this issue of the Southern Sierran features the environmental efforts of the Angeles Chapter. With over twenty active campaigns volunteers and staff work tirelessly to promote the Sierra Club's mission: Explore, enjoy and protect the wild places of the earth. To get learn more, attend a Conservation Committee Meetings or join a specific campaign highlighted in the following pages.

Chapter Conservation Committee meets on the third Weds. of every month at 7:15 pm at Sierra Club Angeles Chapter headquarters, 3250 Wilshire Blvd. #1106, Los Angeles.

Orange County Conservation Committee meets on the third Tues. of every month at 7:00pm at Inn at the Park, 10 Marquette, Irvine.
