The Sierra Club has given their early endorsement to activist Garen Yegparian for Burbank City Council. Yegparian is a life long environmentalist and long time member of the Club as well as past executive committee member for the Angeles Chapter. Additionally he has served Burbank in many areas including the Transit Task Force, Burbank Trails Committee, Charter Review Committee, Burbank Community Development Committee and Burbank Campaign Finance Reform Committee. He is currently chair of the Burbank Parks, Recreation and Community Service Board. Because of his interests and political knowledge the Angeles Chapter Political Action Committee has singled out Yegparian as someone special to serve the environment and Burbank.
