Problem:

Opening a PDF causes the error "Error reading linearized hint data."

Solution:

1. Open the Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
2. Click the Edit menu, then click Preferences.
3. On the left side, click Options.
4. Click to remove the check mark from Allow Fast Web View.
5. Click OK.
