DEC 7 WED MONTHLY MEETING: OUT OF THE WILD AND INTO YOUR GARDEN. Tracy Drake, Manager and Naturalist at the Madrona Marsh Preserve in the City of Torrance, is a much sought after expert on Southern California native flora and fauna. She'll talk about her work at the Madrona Marsh and how you can bring beautiful, colorful, fragrant and even edible native plants, flowers and shrubs into your own garden, and in the process cut your water bills, create local wildlife habitat, and restore our unique Southern CA native landscape. DEC. 13 TUE: XMAS ON THE HILL. Join the Long Beach Group for our annual Christmas Party on the Hill. We’ll meet at 7 pm as for our regular conditioning hike and hike to Hill Top Park, or just meet us at Hill Top Park at 8pm to celebrate the holiday. Bring a dish to share and a festive attitude.
