WHITEWATER RAFTING BUS TRIP CAMPOUT C:
We began the summer with a BIG splash; on a 2-day/2-night adventure as we conquered the south fork of the American River and rafted through exciting class III rapids like the "Bouncing Rock," "Satan's Cesspool," and…"the Meatgrinder!" We left Friday from the Northridge REI on a luxury bus to our secluded 40-acre camp complete with indoor restrooms, HOT showers and soft, grassy sites for our self-provided tents and sleeping bags. Rafted Saturday and Sunday. Returned to Northridge Sunday evening. Ldrs: FRED KLEINDENST, BARBARA PUNT, CYNTHIA WERNER.
